My Dragon

She came to me in a dream,
Above a fire mountain flying,
With a nest nestled in between,
The flames that touched the sky.
She didnít even pause to land,
But saved me from demise,
Because her mountain home,
Had spilled into our countryside.
The fire bellowed everywhere,
And covered everything,
And yet she kept me safe,
In exchange for one painting.
I hope I did her justice,
All though Iím not sure why she picked me...
She was a muse of inspiration,
And I still owe her one today.
